The traveler when arriving, arrives asking for the bar, the tapas are made for you at the moment, it is worth being patient, because what comes out of the kitchen, they make it for you, freshly made. No preheating. Everything freshly made. Abundant tapas. Cold beer. I advise you to order the pitchers that bring two tapas if you don’t want to wait.

02/11/2021: The house is very nice, decorated with great taste makes you transport you to an authentic rural environment and surrounded by beautiful landscapes such as the path to pozo nuevo or the mining town with a lake and recreational area, with the bar La Manola next door where you can try typical dishes of the mountains. The house is very clean, the hostess is great and as for the equipment it is well equipped with sheets, comforters, heating and fireplace. There is not a great variety of kitchen utensils but as the hostess runs the bar she can provide what is needed. A surprise the Centenillo, we will certainly return.

Its origin would be doubtfully Celtic due to the preservation of the initial /p/, as occurs in Lusitano. However, it presents typically Celtic developments, such as the vocalization /an/ < /*n̥/, the conversion of the group /*ls /> /ll/, and the vocalization of the zero degree /al/ < /*l̥/.

The flag of the city of Palencia is purple, a consequence of the error incurred by the scholarly tradition of the late 19th and early 20th centuries of the degradation of the natural dyes gules or crimson of the banner of Castile, which was crimson.[1]In the center of it champions its coat of arms.

The coat of arms of Palencia is quartered; in the first and fourth quarters, on a background of azure, it shows the cross granted to the city by King Alfonso VIII of Castile; in the second and third quarters, of gules, a castle of gold crenellated with three battlements (the coat of arms of the kingdom of Castile), masoned in sable and clarified in azure. The shield is on a gold heraldic parchment.

To the bell an ancient royal crown, open, composed of a gold circle set with precious stones holding eight fleurons of acanthus leaves, five of which are visible, interpolated with pearls. The cross that appears represented in the shield symbolizes the «Cross of Victory» that was given by King Alfonso VIII to Bishop Tello Téllez de Meneses for the heroic performance of the people of Palencia in the battle of Navas de Tolosa that took place in 1212. The golden castle on the field of gules is the symbol that represents the old kingdom of Castile, of which Palencia was a part.
